Historical tenement residence dating from 1913
completely restored building regained its original pre-war appearance – it has been recreated, among others, entrance gate, elegant green courtyard, stylish staircases, decorative stucco. The interiors are decorated with original stuccoes and tiled stoves. For the convenience of users elevators have been installed in existing niches.
Polish writer Maria Dąbrowska lived in the building for 37 years. At present in the apartment of the author of “Nights and Days” there is a museum, where the literary and journalistic legacy of the writer, her art works and personal memorabilia are presented. The premises include preserved original floors, doors and windows.
